Q1 Recap...
I’m gonna be real…I missed.
For the first time since starting BlogsByJay, I didn’t deliver. We missed 3 of our “first Sunday of the month” blogs… and yeah, that bothered me.
But at the same time… I was out living everything I dreamed of.
So instead of forcing something just to stay consistent — I took the time to travel, explore, reset, and actually experience life. And honestly? I don’t regret it.
MJ took some years off and came back with another 3-peat… I’ll take my 3 months 😅

🌎 The Last 3 Months = A Movie
This year already feels insane…
I’ve been to 4 countries in 3 months, DJ’d internationally, and had one of the best Pre-Wedding SZNs of my life.

🇲🇽 JAN — Mexico Moves | Jan 20 - 24
Started the year off right. Simple. Fun. Locked in.
DJ’d a wedding in San Miguel de Allende for Hillary & Andrew
Then hit CDMX right after & ate my way through the city trying to find the best empanadas in the world

🇮🇳 FEB — Wedding & Explore (HYD x BLR) | Feb 17 - 28
Back to India… and it felt like business. (4th Year in a row DJ in India) #liveinthemoment
DJ’d a big fat Indian wedding in Hyderabad for Kirtan & Aishwarya
Full weekend. Full energy. Full production.
Then went to Bangalore to chill, explore with my team and make content (ST$TR)
India always hits different — culture, chaos, love, energy… all of it. India is Home <3

🇹🇭 MARCH — Thailand | Mar 1 - 12
This might’ve been the dopest solo trip I’ve ever done.
No schedule. No pressure. Just me.
Bangkok & Phuket
Shot some of my cleanest cinematic content yet
Got a big tattoo on my arm (Sorry Mom & Dad)
Took Muay Thai classes + watched a Muay Thai fight
Hit temples, floating/train markets, malls, random food spots, & so much more
Thailand felt like a mix of NYC energy + peaceful escape at the same time.
Super affordable
Mad safe
People were genuinely nice
Food was insane
Bangkok= Thailand NYC
Phuket= Beautiful Views & Beaches
I slowed down here. Reflected a lot. And needed that more than I realized.

🇸🇬 SINGAPORE — Clean, Modern, Different | Mar 12 - 17
Singapore was a whole different vibe.
One of the Cleanest cities I’ve ever been in right next to Japan & Dubai
Everyone speaks English — no language barrier at all (Best Part)
Feels like NYC… but calmer and more structured
Did everything:
Universal Studios
Gardens by the Bay (Super Trees + light show)
A Sleep Reset Class hosted by Heveya on National Sleep Day <3 (Spontaneous & Best Thing I did)
Merlion!!! (Drink the water ;)
Hawker Centers (some of the best food of the trip)
Shoutout to: Spicy Sambal Fried Chicken + Egg Fried Rice + Popiah — MONEY $.
Only downside? Prices = NYC 😂 But overall… super safe, super smooth, super worth it.

🎧 Why I Really Took That Time Off
I didn’t disappear. I just stepped into the life I’ve been working for.
I left my full-time job last year to go all in on being a Luxury Destination Wedding DJ/MC — and this was the first time I really felt that shift. Not just working. Not just grinding.
But actually living it.

💭 Real Talk
The last 3 months felt like a rollercoaster…But the fun one. The one where you’re laughing the whole time and don’t want it to end.
I learned a lot:
How to slow down
How to be present
How to enjoy the process, not just chase the next thing
And yeah… I missed a few blogs.
But I gained:
Perspective
Experiences
Stories I’ll have forever
🔥 What’s Next
We’re back. Locked in. Consistent. Better.
And I’m continuing one of our New Series moving forward even more crazier:
Every country I visit… I’m recording a DJ set. (Views & Vibes)
That’s my souvenir. That’s my timestamp. That’s how I remember each place forever.

🧠 Final Thought
If you’ve been watching from the outside — just know this: I’m not just DJing. I’m building a life around it.
Traveling. Connecting. Creating moments. And doing it for the right people. Missed a few…But lived a lot. We’re just getting started.
