Six Years Later, Music Is Taking Me Around the World.

Sometimes I gotta remind myself to actually look around.
Six years ago, I started DJing because I loved music, loved making people dance, and honestly just loved the feeling of being behind the decks.
I didn't know where it would take me.
I definitely didn't think I'd eventually be packing my bags every couple of weeks to DJ weddings around the world.
But here we are :) Time for VIVĀRA to shine <3
Six Years Later...
A lot has changed.
The events got bigger. The flights got longer. The venues got crazier.
And somehow something I started because I genuinely loved doing it became my actual life.
I've DJ'd weddings in places I never even got to go on vacation at. My first time ever visiting India...was to DJ. I've experienced different cultures, foods, traditions, music, families and people — all because somebody trusted me with one of the biggest weekends of their life.
That's still crazy to me. And this next stretch might be one of my busiest yet.
The Next Run 🌎
I'm not dropping the entire calendar because we don't need any evil eye 😂
But just over the next few months, music is taking me from Italy → Portugal → Mexico → the Dominican Republic → California → India and a few more stops along the way.
Some places I've been before. Some I've never stepped foot in. And every single one will be completely different.
Different cultures. Different families. Different venues. Different dancefloors.
Same goal every time: Give the couple everything I have and make sure everybody in that room FEELS something.
The Funny Part About Chasing a Dream
When you're constantly working toward the next level, it's really easy to forget that you're already living something you once wanted.
I'm guilty of it too.
Finish one wedding → think about the next one.
Land from one country → start packing for another.
Post one recap → start planning the next piece of content.
Hit one goal → immediately create another.
That's how I'm wired.
But I've been learning that there's a difference between being hungry and never allowing yourself to be satisfied.
You can want more while still appreciating right now.
That's Why: Live in the Moment.
And honestly, the same thing applies to my couples.
You spend months — sometimes YEARS — planning your wedding.
The venue. The outfits. The entertainment. The flowers. The food. The timeline.
Every tiny detail gets discussed 100 times. And then the actual wedding comes...
and it flies by. So when it's finally here?
LIVE IT.
Dance a little longer. Hug your parents. Go crazy with your friends. Eat the food you spent months choosing 😂 Look around during your reception for a second and realize that almost every person you love is standing in the same room because of you two.
If something runs five minutes late, who cares. If something tiny doesn't go exactly according to plan, keep moving. You only get that exact moment once.
The Best Weddings Aren't Always the "Perfect" Ones
After doing this for six years, I've realized something.
The weddings I remember most aren't necessarily the ones where every single thing went perfectly.
They're the ones where everyone was present. The couple was on the dancefloor. The parents were having fun. & Everyone truly felt included. People weren't watching the wedding happen — they were actually part of it. That's when the room feels different.
And as a DJ, you can feel that immediately. Those are my favorite weddings to perform.
Still Just Getting Started
I'm 25 years old (Turning 26 on 9/22 ;)
I'm a Luxury Wedding & Private Event DJ/MC.
And somehow this job has given me a passport full of memories, friends around the world, ridiculous stories, and experiences I would've never had sitting at home wondering "what if?"
There are still so many places I want to perform. So many venues I haven't seen. So many people I haven't met. And a LOT more I want to build.
But I'm trying not to rush there. Because six years ago, the version of me who was just starting probably would've looked at everything happening right now and said:
Bro... you're doing it. So I'm going to enjoy it.
One flight. One couple. One dancefloor. One country. One moment at a time :)
For My Couples Reading This...
Plan the wedding. Care about the details. Hire people you trust.
Then when your weekend finally comes...let go.
We'll handle the music. Your planner will handle the timeline. Your vendors will handle what you hired them to do. Your only job at that point is to look around, grab your person, and realize: This is it. This is the moment you planned all of this for.
Don't miss it thinking about what's next. I'm learning to do the same thing.
Welcome to the Destination Era 🌎
I’m actually documenting this next chapter too :)
Starting this September, I’m taking on 12 destination weddings across 4 continents over the next 12 months — not just to say I DJed around the world, but to see how much better I can become because of it. Every country, culture, family and dancefloor is different, and that’s the challenge I want. I know what works for me at home, but becoming truly world-class means being able to walk into a wedding anywhere in the world, understand the people in front of me, adapt, and deliver.
I’m calling it Destination Era, and I’m documenting the wins, mistakes, lessons and everything in between. First stop: Tuscany 🇮🇹
