Happy Cinco de Mayo! Destination Weddings have become a huge part of our industry for couples to go up & beyond for their locations on their big day! The hottest & top destination– Mexico. Being from NJ and getting to DJ South Asian Weddings there is not only big for me but has impacted our industry to get creative & be different with the Events.
I've had the incredible opportunity to bring music and joy to some of Mexico's most stunning resorts & places. Today, I'm thrilled to share my favorite spots—each of them holds a special place in my heart and my DJ journey. From breathtaking views to unforgettable celebrations, join me as I count down the top places I performed at & visited in Mexico!
Moon Palace in Cancun isn't just a resort; it's truly a palace. With three different sub-resorts within its realm, it offers an experience unlike any other. I'm always awed by the design & the overall setup of the place. The Grand has a magnificent lobby, bowling alley, game room, waterpark/lazy river and the gym are some of the very few amenities the resort has where they really take it to the next level!
The food. It’s actually amazing…The different restaurants hosted on the property as well as the food carts & stands available near the pools and throughout the resorts are all 10/10. Habibi is a must try! The rooms & ballroom were absolutely huge & it was amazing to DJ a Wedding there!
The Music Room, Popcorn/Ice Cream Bar, NightClub, & Pools are just a few of my favorites at this resort! At Hard Rock Los Cabos, I've had the pleasure of DJing four times, and each visit reminds me why it's a hotspot to celebrate. My personal favorite? The chicken baguette sandwich—make sure you try it! With Spicy Mayo ;)
The vibes in Los Cabos are as unique as its landscape. Every time I touch down in Cabo I automatically become calm because of the scenic feeling of the mountains. But, when I come to Hard Rock…it goes down! The countless & endless memories made here have been truly remarkable. From DJ during a Hurricane and also going to the beach during it…Hard Rock Los Cabos will always hold a special place in my heart <3
These connected resorts in Costa Mujeres have become my second home, hosting countless events (4) that always turn into memorable nights. TRS stands for "The Royal Suites" within the Grand Palladium Resort & Spa complex. Known for its upscale, adults-only experience, TRS offers exclusive amenities such as private pools, butler service, and gourmet dining options. The Grand Palladium is right next to TRS / part of the same complex and offers a wider range of accommodations and activities suitable for families and couples.
Getting to do events at both of the properties & enjoy both sides is a lot of fun! From transport resort to resort & even taking a casual boat ride to your room, this place has at all!!! Whether you're at TRS Coral or Grand Palladium, the views are breathtaking, and the vibes are just right for a night of celebration and joy.
Garza Blanca, newly renovated, gives off the modern feel as soon as you arrive. The first thing I will start by saying is the rooms are absolutely amazing! This resort is all about pristine views and exclusive vibes.
The clean, modern aesthetic makes every day here feel like you're a VIP. It offers luxurious accommodations, gourmet dining options, and a focus on relaxation and wellness with its spa facilities and outdoor activities.
Morelia holds a special place in my heart. A city located in the state of Michoacán, Mexico, is known for its well-preserved colonial architecture, historic sites, and vibrant cultural scene. Visitors to Morelia can explore its beautiful churches, museums, and plazas, as well as enjoy traditional cuisine and local festivals. The street food is absolutely amazing!
I DJ’ed a wedding where the bride was from Morelia and the groom was from India (Gujarat) & created an incredible fusion of cultures. The family's warmth, the genuine Mexican vibe, and the party that went until 4 AM made this one of my most memorable Weddings ever.

As we celebrate Cinco de Mayo, these spots remind me of the power of music to bring people together, across cultures and communities. With more & more South Asian Weddings happening in Mexico & around the world, I can't wait to see what to expect when I go next!
