2025: The Year I Left Everything to Build Everything

June 2025 — I made the biggest decision of my life.

I decided to leave my full-time corporate job — the job I worked hard to land, the job that made my parents proud, the job that gave me a steady salary and benefits. On July 4th, America’s Independence Day, I walked away from that life… and declared my own freedom.

I had no backup plan. Just a vision.

The Second Half of 2025 Changed My Life Forever

When I left my job, I didn’t realize I was stepping into the wildest, most fulfilling chapter of my life. Here’s what the second half of 2025 looked like:

JULY — The First Day of the Rest of My Life

I officially walked out of my 9–5 on July 4th, 2025. For the first time, I woke up with no meetings, no calendar invites, no one to answer to… but myself. I wasn’t scared. I was ready. Ready to build my brands — beatsbyjay & ST$TR — into something global.

AUGUST — DJ’d & Traveled in Europe for the First Time

My dream came true. I got to travel to Europe for the 1st time!!! I visited Switzerland, Florence and DJ a luxury wedding in Lake Como, Italy. Villas. Views. Vibes. We filmed cinematic content, and delivered recaps that hit different. The energy? Unmatched. I wasn't just DJing & Traveling. I was living the dream.

SEPTEMBER — Turned 25 :)

I hit a milestone age while living the lifestyle I used to talk about for years. Instead of a quarter-life crisis, I had a quarter-life awakening. I launched VIVĀRA Collective, a Luxury Destination Wedding Event Management Group to expand the experiences on Destination Weddings & to truly "Live in the Moment". I’m still young, but I know exactly who I am.

25. Free. Focused. Unstoppable. (Did not achieve my goal of being a billionaire by 25...)

OCTOBER — Back to Jaipur, India

This time it was bigger. I DJ’d my second major wedding in Jaipur — fully locked in with my team and content shooters. From palace venues to Elephant Day, I curated sounds and stories for a couple who wanted more than music — they wanted a memory. I love in India, but most importantly Jaypur has a special place in my heart. Every time I go back it makes me next level happy :) SHOUTOUT 2 my team for coming with me <3

NOVEMBER — First Time in Dubai

Another dream come true...HABIBI WENT TO DUBAI for an elite mixed Gujarati & Punjabi wedding, curating insane vibes for my first ever UK Couple/Crowd. The Wedding Weekend was held at the Anantara on the Palm Dubai Resort, one of the most luxurious cities in the world, The Palm Jumeirah. It opened a whole new door for what’s possible in this space & motivated me to think & expand globally.

DECEMBER — A Dream Trip to Japan

On 11/30, I booked a flight to Tokyo 3 hours before the flight took off... The most spontaneous thing I've ever done in my life turned out to be the best decision ever...

Japan has been on my bucket list forever, and I got to spend the final weeks of the year exploring the streets of Osaka, Kyoto, & Tokyo — eating the food, capturing the vibes, explore the culture and reflecting on this unbelievable year. (GOING BACK AGAIN...)

Japan wasn’t about business. It was about me. A trip for the soul which taught me the most.

Reflection: "Freedom Isn’t Easy. But Damn, It’s Worth It."

Let’s be real. This year wasn’t just aesthetic. There were moments of pressure. Doubt. Exhaustion. But you know what made it all worth it? Waking up every day with purpose.

I got to build something this year. I got to explore new countries, expand my brands, perform for couples around the world, and still have time to sit in silence, organize, walk through life, and remind myself: I’m living this life. It’s not a dream anymore.

What’s Coming in 2026

Here’s the vision:

• More luxury weddings across Portugal, Africa, Thailand, and Morocco

• New original music, DJ sets, and remixes from BeatsByJay

• Faster edits from ST$TR (StayTuned4TheRecap)

• VIVĀRA Collective scaling into a full-service wedding house

• Building the dopest international vendor network

• Cinematic content drops, fire merch, and maybe even a docuseries

2025 was the proof of concept. 2026 is the takeover.
